How can i show faithfulness
And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. May he produce in you, through the power of Jesus Christ, every good thing that is pleasing to him.
All glory to him forever and ever! We tend to take everything for granted. One way to remain faithful and to be faithful in little is to continually thank God for the little that you do have. Thank Him for food, friends, laughter, finances, etc. Even if it is not much thank Him for it! I was so blessed by my trip to Haiti. I saw poor people that were full of joy. They were thankful for the little that they do have. In the United States we are considered rich to them, but we are still unsatisfied.
We are unsatisfied because we are not growing in gratitude. Be thankful for the little that you do have which creates peace and joy. Have you lost sight of what God has done in your life? Do you still look back on His past faithfulness to you? I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need.
I can do all things through him who strengthens me. When we look at the life of Christ we notice that He was never empty. He was never empty because His food was to do the will of the Father and He always did the will of the Father. Jesus was continually faithful in all situations.
He obeyed in suffering. He obeyed in humiliation. He obeyed when He felt alone. Just like Christ we have to be faithful and stand firm in tough situations. If you have been a Christian for a long time, then you have been in situations where it was hard to serve Christ.
There have been times when you felt alone. There have been times where it was hard to obey and not compromise because sin and sinful people were around you. There have been times where you have been made fun of because of your faith. In all of the difficulties that we may face we must stand firm. The love of God drove Christ to keep going and in the same way the love of God drives us to continually obey when it gets tough. Wrongdoers will be completely destroyed; the offspring of the wicked will perish.
The righteous will inherit the land and dwell in it forever. You have done a foolish thing, and from now on you will be at war. I often find myself quoting Matthew Why should God care for a people like us? We sin, we doubt Him, we doubt His love at times, etc. God is not like us, although sometimes we may be faithless God is always faithful. The mere fact that God is faithful should lead us to be faithful to Him.
Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill? When we are faced with making decisions, choose the one that's not sinful and is pleasing to God, even if it means being ridiculed and made fun of. Remember, the Lord Jesus Himself was persecuted, and this means that we should be prepared and willing to face some too. Loving God with our mouths alone is like saying your wedding vow today then divorcing or separating from the spouse of your youth the next morning — it has no weight.
You have to show your love to Jesus by obeying His commands, which according to Him, is light. The Lord Jesus said in Matthew , "And the King will say, 'I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!
God is watching over our lives and He sees how we treat our brothers and sisters in Christ, as well as those who are not of the flock just yet. He sees all our actions, and because He loves everyone in the world see John , it matters to Him that we love our neighbours, too.
Home Life Pixabay God is very faithful to all of us, and it is by His faithfulness that we can continue living as His sons and daughters in this world. Be unwavering in your belief in Him No matter what happens, we must stay strong and immovable in our belief in Him who made us, saved us, and called us His very own.
It seems to me that you come more from a spirit of criticism than from one of a desire to learn, serve and love which are also the basis of Jesus teachings in the Gospels. Please revise your intentions. Kevin, the difference between heaven and hell is judged solely on the basis of your response to Jesus. But what heaven is like for believers will depend at least in part on how faithfully we invested the time we lived after meeting Jesus.
And just how does Mr. Warren know that these things are the things GOD will use to evaluage ones faithfullness? Unfortunately, today, many churches and pastors are so influenced by this world view, that they think God does the same. Jesus is our perfect righteousness, the only one. If we really are in Jesus and trust in his sufficient grace, there is nothing we should be afraid of, not even a judgement. The Bible states that David served his own generation by the will of God.
David repented of his sin.. David serving his own generation by the will of God was also through his readiness and conscious efforts to do that which pleased the Lord.
He was not a perfect man but he amended his errors and was in consciousness of His faithfulness to God. These teachings are practical examples of living a life that others can easily look on us and decide that indeed; we serving a living God who lives in us through Christ Jesus.
Pastor Rick your ministry blesses me daily : Praise God for how he is using you and your family. What religion are you preaching? I did not read your entire statement above, but if you are like many other preachers that are trying to make yourself or your ministry rich on the backs of your followers I am not interested.
I do not believe in religion. I believe in the one God and his commandments. I believe he is reminding us of the precepts and principles found in the Word of God. Do you possess the right values? Do you care about the interests of others? Do you live with integrity before an unbelieving world? Do you keep your promises? Do you develop your God-given gifts? Do you pass on what you learn?
