How many blitzball games to get world champion
But I hate blitzball, and I figured the lazier the better. I also haven't seen anyone describing the ability to cheese this hard with Brother. Now there is 2 potentially annoying things that can makes this strategy hard to execute. Outlier one is the Guado blitzball team. Giera Guado is as fast, perhaps even faster than Brother. This strat can still be done if you position Brother well away from Giera before you can get a free shot, but honestly I don't struggle against this team with the free agent line up, so it's not too difficult to get a lead with Jecht Shot and then waste the timer down.
Outlier two, and this can vary depending on team levels, is the Al-bhed Psyches. Mainly because their goalie is the best goalie in the game by far, and it, in general, is a pain in the ass to score on them.
The conga line strat still works, but can be a bit tighter since I think their players are generally a little faster, but not as fast as Brother. Once inside the enemy goal, do a point blank shotgun Jecht Shot for a lead, then pray you start with the ball and then can just run into your own goal and afk the timer down. He can be found in the cargo bay of the airship.
There could be flaws with this strategy, but as a guy that just wants Wakka's weapon so far, it has been incredibly consistent and easy for something I came up with on the spot. If anyone has any input feel free to comment. Aethelia 18 Jul pm. You don't like blitzball? Why are you wrong when you could choose to be right? Space Owl 30 Jan pm. And the person with 5 posts describes the easy win cheese strats pretty correctly.
Once you have point lead, get the ball and hide behind your goalie. As long as you don't pull aggro before hand or toss the ball to a back liner who isn't close to anyone you can just hide behind the goalie for easy cheese wins. If you take 3 goals each game with one character, they're pretty much guaranteed to be top scorer. As a heads up, once you have the ball, one of the movement modes is based on the minimap and not on the screen, it's recommended to go with that one to avoid any accidental movement shenanigans.
If you're going to be resetting, don't bother signing your free agents for anything more than 10 games. If you decide not to reset, sign them up for about Even without resetting data you can still game the system a bit to guarantee the rewards you want to see. For leagues, just play 9 games and then save. Play the 10th game, then check the new league reward. If it's not what you want, reload your save and play the 10th game again.
For tournaments you just need to exit the Blitzball menu and re-enter it a few times. Tournaments disappear after 3 menu entries and then come back after 5 more menu entries. I got lucky and didn't have to do any of that, though. Anyway, this guide is clutch.
I was completely clueless about Blitzball before following this guide. Thanks for taking the time to write it up. Early on I found it easy to run up the score, but as the teams level up their stats start to climb to the point where they can actually score on you, and that's time consuming.
Miyu is a very good goalie but there are several players with high enough SH to score on her, especially if she doesn't have any goalie techs learned. So, in the end, I stuck to scoring twice in the first half and then just denying the enemy team any time of possession.
Like I said, 45 games, 45 wins, only 1 opposing goal, Tidus was always the Top Scorer. The strat is amazing. I found that, often, on Blitzoffs that I lost, the opposing center would immediately swim into Brother and Wedge and typically turn the ball over. At that point I'd take whoever came away with it toward the friendly goal and watch to see who pursued. Opposing teams typically put players with high AT in their own backfield, so Wedge and Brother can generally break tackles from any combination of forwards and centers.
At that point, the opposing players turn around and wander back to their positions and I'm free to swim into my goal and AFK. The only time I had an opponent aggro on me while in my own goal was in the case of a player with the Elite Defense passive, which increases both the range at which they can participate in encounters and their aggro radius.
This only happened to me with two players, Diem and one of the Ronsos. Also, you don't need to have Wakka on your team to get the Jupiter Sigil. The Jupiter Sigil is the first obtainable sigil, as you can technically get it as you're leaving Luca for the first time.

Seymour ignores his request, much to Wakka's chagrin. Wakka even goes so far as to blame Rikku for the turn of events with the Guados. While we know Chappu was killed during Crusader operation, Wakka reveals that he died using a machina weapon, ditching the sword, Brotherhood, that Wakka gave Chappu before his departure.
Wakka depended on Yevon's religion and guidance throughout his formative years, making him socially conservative as an adult. Because of his religious devotion, Wakka is resistant to participate in anything considered forbidden by its teachings.
On the way to Macalania, for example, Wakka refuses to ride on the machina-powered snowmobiles. Eventually, traveling Spira with Yuna's party broadens Wakka's worldview, and he begins to see the hypocrisy behind his previous actions; he apologizes to Cid and the Al Bhed for his ignorance.
